Abstract

This paper explores the impact of international investment and export-import policy on the industrial sector, with a particular focus on Uzbekistan as an emerging economy. Using real data from 2022 and 2023, the study analyzes foreign direct investment (FDI) inflows and export dynamics within key sectors such as pharmaceuticals, automotive, and electrical engineering. Findings suggest that Uzbekistan’s proactive economic reforms have significantly enhanced its attractiveness for global investors and strengthened its export base. The paper concludes that aligning investment and trade policy with global trends is crucial for sustainable industrial development in emerging markets.
