This article analyzes consumer behavior and resource waste from an economic perspective. The role of government policy and market mechanisms in addressing this issue is examined, with a comparative analysis of different countries’ approaches. Through graphical visualizations, the dynamics of global resource waste and the outcomes of effective policies are highlighted. The study’s findings indicate that strict regulation and consumer awareness can significantly reduce resource waste. Furthermore, government intervention and economic incentives play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of market mechanisms.
