EXPERT-STATISTICAL EVALUATION OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF A QUALITY MANAGEMENT MODEL BASED ON LEAN MANUFACTURING IN MACHINE BUILDING ENTERPRISES

Abstract

 This article presents the results of an expert-statistical evaluation of the  effectiveness of the integrated Lean-QMS model implemented in machine-building enterprises. The  objective of the study was to quantitatively assess the dynamic changes in the strategic management, employee performance, and production process subsystems, as well as to determine their statistical  significance. The effectiveness of the model was evaluated by 15 independent experts using a 10 point rating scale. The consistency of expert opinions was assessed using Kendall’s coefficient of  concordance (W=0.82; p<0.001), while the effectiveness of the model transformation was verified  using the paired Student’s t-test. Following the implementation of the model, the average scores  increased significantly: from 5.2 to 7.0 in strategic management, from 5.5 to 7.3 in employee  performance, and from 4.6 to 6.7 in production processes. The calculated t-test values exceeded the  critical threshold (p<0.001), demonstrating that the observed improvements were not random and  confirming the high operational effectiveness of the model with a 99.9% confidence level.
