This article provides a scientific-theoretical analysis of modern pedagogical problems emerging in today’s education system, their essence and content, as well as their negative impact on the primary education process. Factors such as digital transformation, the introduction of innovative technologies, the development of teachers’ professional competencies, and the underdeveloped system of assessing education quality pose new challenges for the pedagogical process. At the end of the study, scientific recommendations for improving the quality and effectiveness of education are presented.
