This analytical article examines the axiological foundations of developing speech culture in primary school native language lessons. Speech culture is interpreted as a core value that shapes pupils’ moral development, communicative competence, and social behavior. The paper analyzes the concept of axiology in pedagogy, its significance in primary education, and the theoretical and methodological bases for fostering speech culture. Special emphasis is placed on developing a value-based attitude toward language, respectful communication, and national and universal values through speech education.
