Abstract
This article explores innovative approaches to improving the methodology for developing oral literacy in primary school students. Oral literacy, being a foundational skill, plays a crucial role in the formation of communicative competence, critical thinking, and overall academic success. The research emphasizes interactive and student-centered teaching methods, including storytelling, role-playing, dialogic teaching, and the use of multimedia resources to enhance students’ speech fluency, vocabulary acquisition, and listening comprehension. Furthermore, the article highlights the importance of integrating culturally relevant materials to foster engagement and develop students’ expressive abilities in meaningful contexts.
