Abstract
This article explores effective methods of introducing preschool children to Karakalpak folk tales, emphasizing the role of storytelling in the moral, cultural and emotional development of preschool pupils. The study discusses interactive techniques, such as dramatization, visual aids, and play-based learning to engage children’s imagination and interest. By integrating Karakalpak folklore into early childhood education, educators can foster a sense of cultural identity, enhance language skills, and instill universal values through traditional narratives.
