Abstract
This article analyzes the artistic and functional characteristics of book lexicon based on Pirimqul Kadirov's work "Qadrim". Attention is paid to the role of book words in the formation of ideas, images and style, and how the author's historical and aesthetic views are expressed through them. The analysis is based on the approaches of linguistics and literary studies
