Abstract
This article explores the enduring significance of the master-disciple relationship in traditional crafts, focusing on its role in preserving cultural heritage, transmitting artisanal knowledge, and shaping moral values. Rooted in personal mentorship and experiential learning, this system has persisted across civilizations despite the challenges of modernization. The article also examines contemporary threats and adaptive strategies such as institutional support and digital tools. Emphasizing its educational, cultural, and ethical dimensions, the paper argues for the revitalization of this model in a changing world.
