Abstract
Proverbs are examples of folklore created as a result of folk wisdom. They embody a deep content, a certain concrete form, and the life experiences, attitude to society, history, mental state, ethical and aesthetic feelings, and positive qualities of the ancestors. A representative act is the perception of reality in existence, its expression by the speaker through linguistic means, and its understanding by the listener. Representative acts in speech communication can sometimes be understood differently based on the listener's thinking. In this research, we analyzed proverbs from the point of view of a representative act based on excerpts from various works
