Abstract

This article explores the integration of bionics-inspired pedagogical strategies to foster creative thinking in preschool children. Bionics, which draws inspiration from natural systems and processes, offers a unique framework for designing engaging, interdisciplinary activities that stimulate imagination, problem-solving, and innovation. By leveraging biomimicry principles, educators can create learning experiences that encourage young learners to observe, analyze, and adapt natural designs to solve real-world problems. The article discusses practical approaches, such as nature-based design challenges, storytelling with bionic themes, and hands-on projects mimicking biological systems, to nurture creativity. It also examines the developmental benefits of these activities, including enhanced cognitive flexibility, curiosity, and collaborative skills. Through a synthesis of theoretical insights and practical examples, this study highlights how bionics can transform early childhood education by fostering a creative mindset grounded in the wonders of the natural world.
