Abstract

This article is devoted to the national games of the peoples of the Lower Amu Darya, showing the role of values in the socio-cultural life of their population. The history of folk games goes back a long time and fully reflects the traditions, spirituality, and values of the nation. National folk games have always encouraged young people to be strong, agile, united, and harmonious. Each folk game has its own unique aspect, and when playing it, young people develop a sense of unity, cohesion, and mutual respect in a team. This idea lies at the root of spiritual values - the idea of nationality. Values incorporate the faith, strength, and perseverance of an entire people, nation. The purpose of holding national folk games is not only to demonstrate nationality, but also to demonstrate strength and courage. That is why, before announcing fights and competitions, shouts and calls from those with fire in their hearts or brave men ring in our ears. These calls encouraged the young men to be brave and courageous.
