Abstract

Teaching the Russian language to national groups in higher education institutions, particularly for students specializing in food industry technologies, requires innovative and adaptive methods to address linguistic, cultural, and professional challenges. This article explores modern pedagogical approaches tailored to enhance Russian language proficiency among diverse student groups in technical fields. By integrating technology-driven tools, interdisciplinary content, and culturally responsive strategies, these methods aim to foster effective communication skills relevant to the food industry. The study highlights the importance of contextualized learning, incorporating real-world applications such as food technology terminology, cross-cultural collaboration, and digital platforms like virtual simulations and language apps. Additionally, it examines the role of project-based learning, gamification, and immersive environments in increasing student engagement and retention. The findings suggest that combining linguistic instruction with professional and cultural contexts significantly improves language acquisition and prepares students for globalized food industry careers.
