Abstract
This article explores the use of innovative teaching methods in delivering the subject of general pedagogy to students majoring in preschool education and chemistry. It highlights the specific characteristics of both fields and emphasizes the importance of adapting pedagogical strategies to their unique educational needs. The paper reviews modern teaching approaches such as blended learning, STEAM, CLIL, gamification, and project-based learning, illustrating how these methods enhance student engagement, develop critical thinking, and improve professional competencies. The discussion also reflects on the positive impact of innovative methodologies on the effectiveness of higher education instruction. Practical recommendations are provided to support educators in applying these methods to improve the quality and efficiency of teaching general pedagogy in diverse academic contexts.
