Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the current state of use of computer networks in high schools, their role in the educational process and the need to improve their capabilities. Computer networks are important as a means of increasing the interactivity of classes in educational institutions, directing students to independent knowledge, automating the activities of teachers and expanding the possibilities of using digital resources. The article also offers and recommendations on the technical components of computer networks, local and global network infrastructure, ways to increase teachers ' ICT literacy, the possibility of organizing distance education, strengthening security measures and the practical implementation of innovative network-based platforms. As a result of the analysis, the effective use of computer networks in secondary schools can improve the quality of education, improve the information technology of students
