Abstract

Due to ongoing climate change, the demand for water in agriculture is increasing annually, while water scarcity becomes more pronounced. Therefore, every drop of water must be efficiently conserved. Mineral nutrients are applied to improve the reclamation status of saline and gypsiferous soils before leaching them. However, these nutrients often do not reach the root layer of plants. To address this issue, we conducted a study to determine the optimal opening angle of the winged blades in the fertilizer system of a chisel-cultivator.
