Abstract
This article explores the forensic significance of traumatic injuries sustained by the human body. It discusses the classification of trauma, diagnostic criteria, the role of histological and biochemical markers in assessment, and the capabilities of modern imaging technologies. In addition, statistical analyses, experimental data, and international clinical protocols are reviewed to emphasize the need for an individualized approach in every case. Forensic traumatology serves as a scientific foundation for clarifying criminal circumstances. The article also highlights common challenges in forensic examinations of trauma and proposes solutions based on global experience.
