Integrating robotics and programming into mathematics education is a significant step in developing students' problem-solving skills and computational thinking abilities. This study explores methods for effectively integrating robotics and programming into mathematics lessons for primary and secondary school students. Specifically, it analyzes the opportunities for using robotics kits and programming tools to teach mathematical concepts such as geometry, algebra, and logical reasoning.
The findings of the research indicate that incorporating technology into the educational process not only enhances students' interest in mathematics but also strengthens their ability to apply theoretical knowledge to real-life situations. Tasks such as drawing shapes using robots, calculating their area, or controlling robots based on algorithms contributed to deepening students' understanding of mathematical concepts.
Additionally, the study identifies challenges in implementing robotics and programming in the education system. Key factors affecting the success of this process include resource shortages, teacher preparedness, and the flexibility of curricula. Overall, the integration of robotics and programming into mathematics education not only fosters interdisciplinary understanding among students but also expands their problem-solving skills. In the future, ensuring adequate resources and improving pedagogical strategies will be crucial for broader implementation of this approach.
