Abstract
This article explores the importance and methodology of a differential approach to enhancing auditory and speech activity in children with cochlear implants. A cochlear implant is a modern medical technology used to restore hearing and speech in children with limited hearing abilities, and its successful outcomes depend on a variety of factors. When cochlear implants are used in children of different ages and developmental stages, it is essential to apply an individualized and differentiated approach to improve their auditory and speech activity. This approach is related to the child’s hearing characteristics, cognitive abilities, speech development level, and changes in their social environment. The article presents the key principles of the differential approach, as well as pedagogical and clinical perspectives, along with practical recommendations for improving the speech activity of children after cochlear implantation. It is emphasized that these methods can significantly enhance the effectiveness of managing the development of hearing and speech in children.
