Abstract

This article is dedicated to the study of the linguocultural characteristics of narratives in English and Uzbek languages. As an important genre of folklore, narratives reflect intercultural communication. The article analyzes the thematic features of narratives, the system of images, linguistic means, and their linguocultural significance. The study identifies similarities and differences in English and Uzbek narratives, demonstrating their connection with national cultures. The article can be useful for researchers, philologists, and cultural scientists interested in the study of folklore.
