Abstract
The article talks about the 3rd declension in Latin and Greek, giving importance on the challenge of identifying these nouns due to diverse stems and ambiguous nominative forms. It highlights the use of the genitive singular ending '-is' but notes exceptions, and therefore it makes the third declension nouns less predictable if we are comparing it to the first and second declensions.
