Psychosomatics is a field of medicine that studies the influence of mental factors on a person's physical health. In recent decades, there has been a growing interest in this topic, which is associated with an increase in the number of cases of diseases in which psychoemotional aspects play a key role. This article examines the main mechanisms of interaction between mental state and physical health, including the impact of stress, anxiety and depression on the development of various somatic diseases. Examples of diseases such as hypertension, asthma, peptic ulcer and others, where psychosomatic factors play a significant role are discussed.
The article also covers modern diagnostic and treatment methods aimed at taking into account psychosomatic aspects in clinical practice. In addition, approaches to disease prevention through improving the psychoemotional state of patients are considered. In conclusion, the importance of integrating a psychosomatic approach into the healthcare system is emphasized to improve the quality of life and the effectiveness of treatment for patients.
