Description
This article explores the contributions of members of the Khiva Khanate’s royal family to literature, historiography, translation, and music during the 19th century. Muhammad Rahim Khan II (Feruz), Muhammad Yusuf Bayani, Ahmad Tabibiy, and Komil Khorezmi played significant roles in shaping Khiva’s cultural and intellectual landscape. Their efforts in poetry, historical documentation, music, and the promotion of translation projects helped establish Khiva as a major center of knowledge in Central Asia. The legacy of their works continues to influence Uzbek cultural and artistic traditions. This study examines their contributions and the broader impact of their intellectual activities.
